A steam sterilizer having a door movable relative to an opening between afirst open positionand a second closed position. A plurality of spaced-apart roller assembliesare aligned along edges ofthe door to align the door relative to the opening as the door moves betweenthe open and closedposition. Each of the roller assemblies are comprised of a cylindrical rollerhaving an outer annualrecess extending along the periphery thereof. The recess is dimensioned toreceive a lateral edge ofthe door. The roller is mounted on a shaft and is movable against a biasingforce axially along theaxis of the shaft.
