PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, which has soft touch and improved absorbent retention of a liquid or the like, and is rapidly transferring the absorbed liquid or the like to an inside of an absorber and inhibiting/preventing reversal or leakage of the liquid or the like.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 10 comprises a liquid-permeable surface sheet 5, a rear surface sheet 6 arranged on a skin non-contact surface side, and a liquid-absorbable absorbent body 11 arranged between the liquid-permeable surface sheet 5 and the rear surface sheet 6. The absorbent body 11 includes an upper layer absorber 2 on a skin contact surface side and a lower layer absorber 1 on the skin non-contact surface side. A convex part 4 formed by the upper layer absorber 2 and the lower layer absorber 1 has a pit 3 formed on the skin contact surface side so as to longitudinally extend. A part forming the pit 3 on the convex part 4 includes a lower surface convex part of the upper layer absorber 2 protruding to the skin non-contact surface side and an upper surface concave part of the lower layer absorber 1 in contact with the lower surface convex part so as to be integrated, or the pit 3 is an opening penetrating the upper layer absorber 2 and the lower layer absorber 1 is positioned on the lower surface of the upper layer absorber 2 so as to form a bottom surface of the opening.
