A method for the design of an orthodontic appliance, including an aligner. The inside surfaces of the appliance are designed with particular points of contact with the teeth to create specific and accurate forces to move misaligned teeth. A method for creating and altering digital images of the teeth structure so as to fabricate the orthodontic appliance. The appliance is produced according to the negative (or inverse) images of altered digital images and fitted on the wearer to achieve the object of precisely moving teeth to new positions.Linvention concerne un procédé de conception dun appareil orthodontique comprenant un aligneur. Les surfaces intérieures de lappareil sont conçues avec des points particuliers de contact avec les dents pour créer des forces spécifiques et précises en vue de déplacer les dents mal alignées. Linvention concerne un procédé de création et de modification dimages numériques de la structure des dents afin de fabriquer un appareil orthodontique. Lappareil est produit conformément aux images négatives (ou inversées) dimages numériques modifiées et ajusté sur le porteur pour atteindre lobjectif dun déplacement précis des dents vers de nouvelles positions.
