PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide specific antibodies and antigen binding fragment thereof that specifically bind to kidney associated antigen 1 (KAAG1) and use thereof for treatment, detection and diagnosis of cancer, where delivery of a therapeutic agent to cells with these antibodies or antigen binding fragments is particularly contemplated.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a novel antibody and antigen binding fragment that specifically bind to KAAG1 which may be used in treatment, detection and diagnosis of cancer comprising KAAG1-expressing cells. Also disclosed are a cell expressing the antibody and antigen-binding fragment and a method for detecting and treating cancer using the antibody and fragment.
