The disclosed catheter has an annular structure wherein a distal tubular member (4) and a proximal tubular member (5) are coupled. Within the distal tubular member (4), tubes (41, 42), into which wires for operation are inserted, are provided at the outer periphery of the tubular member (4). Also, within the proximal tubular member (5), an inner cylinder (5b), into which wires for operation are inserted, is provided at the center portion of the cross-section of the tubular member (5). An intermediate member (100) is installed between the inner cylinder (5b) and the tubes (41, 42). One of the tubes (41) and the inner cylinder (5b) are connected by a pathway (112) provided to the intermediate member (100). Also, the other tube (42) and the inner cylinder (5b) are connected by another pathway (114) provided to the intermediate member (100).
