SOLUTION: What are provided are a muscle enhancer or a muscle weakness inhibitor containing an inositol phosphate or a salt thereof as an active ingredient, use of an inositol phosphate or salt thereof for muscle enhancement and muscle weakness inhibition, a beverage or food for muscle enhancement or muscle weakness inhibition containing an inositol phosphate or a salt thereof as an active ingredient, and the muscle enhancer and the muscle weakness inhibitor wherein the inositol phosphate is phytic acid.
