PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food indicator capable of precisely deciding that the temperature control of the foods is being performed properly and freshness is maintained, and to provide a printing device for printing graduation of the food indicator.SOLUTION: This food indicator, used by being attached to a package of the food, and changing by the elapse of time and surrounding temperature, is provided equipped with a transparent housing package 12 for sealing yeast liquid 11 containing bread yeast, sugar component and water content and is capable of visually recognizing the yeast liquid 11. The housing package 12 has a graduation 12a. The graduation 12a is decided by having different intervals, corresponding to the kinds of food.
