PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body moisture meter for measuring the armpit of a subject as a measurement target, having a structure enabling easy measurement.SOLUTION: The body moisture meter 200 includes: a body unit 110 a sensor unit 121 and an insertion unit 120 which slidably holds the sensor unit 121 on a distal end surface 122 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the distal end surface 122, and outputs a signal for instructing to start measurement by detecting the slide of the sensor unit 121.
