The present invention is directed to the novel use of complexes ofcyclodextrin. In particular the invention is directed to a complex of acyclodextrin selected from the group consisting of .alpha.-CD, .beta.-CD and.gamma.-CD and a cannabinoid selected from the classical cannabinoid-groupconsisting of cannabinol, tetrahydrocannabinol and cannabidiol.
