The present invention relates to a light assembly for an aquarium, which is compatibly used for an aquarium of various lengths. According to the present invention, the light assembly for an aquarium comprises: a light coupling body (100) formed by a predetermined area in the longitudinal direction of the aquarium with a lower part opened, and having a light unit (200) coupled to the inner surface of an upper side； and a pair of aquarium frames coupled to both end parts of the light coupling body (100) and detachably coupling the light coupling body (100) to both sides of the aquarium. The aquarium frame comprises: a variable aquarium frame (300) the length of which can be adjusted in accordance with the length of the aquarium； a fixed aquarium frame (400) which is formed by a fixed length in accordance with the length of the aquarium； and a pendent type aquarium frame (500) which is coupled to be hung to the upper end of the aquarium.
