PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing apparatus capable of generating an image which can be used to diagnose a coronary narrowing, by using a medical image captured in a cardiac contraction period.SOLUTION: The medical image processing apparatus identifies the faces of 1102, 1103, and 1104 of a myocardium region by using a cardiac lumen region, and displays the faces in colors corresponding to the signal values of a medical image at a position, thereby providing the image which can be used to diagnose a coronary narrowing, on the basis of a medical image including a cardiac region being a single piece of volume data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
