PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cleaner moving a cleaning tool linearly back and forth by a motor.SOLUTION: This electric cleaner includes: a rear transmission body 7 rotated by the motor 3 and a front transmission body 10 connected to the cleaning tool 15. A spring 14 is inserted between the front face of the front transmission body 10 and a case 1 to press the front transmission body 10 to the rear transmission body 7 side. A front inclined face 9 conforming to a rear inclined face 8 of the front side of the rear transmission body 7 is formed in the front transmission body 10.
