PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of crushing a cavity formed underground in a trencher groove.SOLUTION: The work machine including a rotary plowing unit and a ridge forming tool arranged in the rear of the rotary plowing unit, being installed on a running vehicle, moves along a trencher groove formed in a farm field, plows with the use of the rotary plowing unit and makes a ridge on the trencher groove with the use of the ridge forming tool. The work machine also has a suppression tool for suppressing soil in the trencher groove, at the rear of the rotary plowing unit but in front of the rear side of the ridge forming tool.
