PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic system that enables an operator to precisely diagnose the inside of a small subject, without imposing a burden on the operator, such as setting an image display method again, and to provide an ultrasonic image generation method.SOLUTION: A surface detection section 14 detects the surface of the subjects body on a side opposite the surface in contact with an ultrasonic probe 1, in the depth direction of a B-mode image. A reception circuit 5 acquires only reception data from an area shallower than the detected surface of the subjects body on the opposite side.
