The present invention addresses the problem of providing a compound having a β-lactamase inhibitory activity. The problem is solved by a compound which is represented by general formula (1) that represents a compound in which a specific location of a 5-membered ring having flatness is substituted with a sulfamoyl group and a carboxyl group.La présente invention aborde le problème de la fourniture d'un composé possédant une activité inhibitrice de β-lactamase. Le problème est résolu par un composé qui est représenté par la formule générale (1) qui représente un composé dans lequel un emplacement spécifique d'un cycle à 5 chaînons présentant une planéité est substitué par un groupe sulfamoyle et un groupe carboxyle.β－ラクタマーゼ阻害活性を有する化合物を提供することを課題とする。該課題を、平面性を有する5員環の特定位置がスルファモイル基及びカルボキシ基に置換されてなる化合物に代表される一般式（1）で表される化合物により、解決する。
