PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bioelectrode in which electric connection between the electrodes can be secured and besides the cost of which can be reduced, and to provide a method for manufacturing the bioelectrode.SOLUTION: A bioelectrode has: a base material 2 a first electrode 6 and a second electrode 7 which are provided in the base material 2 a connection wiring part 4 which is provided in the base material 2, is integrally provided in the first electrode 6, and electrically connects the first electrode 6 and the second electrode 7 a connection part 5 which is provided in the base material 2, is integrally provided in the connection wiring part 4, and is covered with a part or a whole of the second electrode 7 and an insulator 8 for covering the connection wiring part 4.
