PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel compositions for the formation of biteplate enabling the production of a plate denture while using a baseplate in the production of biteplate by a method without opening a dental flask; and to provide methods of producing a plate denture using the same utilizing a method without opening a dental flask.SOLUTION: A composition for forming at least one part of a biteplate which is used for producing a plate denture, is melted at a temperature within the range of 50 to 130°C and has a bending modulus of elasticity in a solid state within the range of 100 to 400 MPa. A method for producing a plate denture comprises the steps of: producing at least one part of a biteplate by the pressure welding of the composition of the present invention in a solid state with respect to a model which is produced by impression taking, installing artificial teeth on the produced biteplate; trying insertion of the biteplate in which the artificial teeth are installed; putting the biteplate in which the artificial teeth after trial insertion are installed, into the dental flask together with the model and pouring investment into the dental flask to bury them; and melting the biteplate without opening the dental flask to pour out from the dental flask.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】咬合床の作製に基礎床を利用しながら無開りん法による有床義歯の製造を可能とし得る新規な咬合床形成用組成物、ならびに、それを用いた無開りん法を利用した有床義歯の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】有床義歯の製造に用いられる咬合床の少なくとも一部を形成するための組成物であって、50~130℃の範囲内の温度で溶融し、かつ、固体状態における曲げ弾性率が100~400MPaの範囲内である、咬合床形成用組成物、ならびに、印象採得により作製された模型に本発明の組成物を固体状態で圧接して咬合床の少なくとも一部を作製し、作製した咬合床に人工歯を設置するステップと、人工歯が設置された咬合床の試適を行なうステップと、試適後の人工歯が設置された咬合床を模型と共に歯科用フラスコ内に収容し、歯科用フラスコ内に埋没材を流し込んで埋没させるステップと、歯科用フラスコを開かずに、咬合床を溶融させ、歯科用フラスコから流し出すステップとを含む、有床義歯の製造方法。【選択図】図1
