PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a heat-resistant glass vessel capable of giving antibacterial performance to vessels of various sizes and shapes, and a heat-resistant glass vessel usable for a microwave oven and hot water sterilization without problems.SOLUTION: The method includes a process for polishing at least the inner surface of a heat-resistant glass vessel, a process for applying a solution containing silver on the polished surface to form a silver film, a process for diffusing silver ions from the glass surface to the inside by heat-treating the vessel on which the silver film is formed at 300-550°C, and a process for washing off silver remained on the surface without diffusing into the inside of glass by using an acid such as nitric acid.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】電子レンジ使用や熱湯消毒が問題なく行え、かつ種種の大きさや形の容器に抗菌性能を付与した耐熱ガラス容器を効率的に製造する方法および耐熱ガラス容器を提供すること。【解決手段】耐熱ガラス容器の少なくとも内表面を研磨する工程と、この研磨した表面に銀を含有する溶液を塗布し銀膜を形成する工程と、銀膜が形成された容器を300℃~550℃で加熱処理することにより、ガラス表面から内部に銀イオンを拡散させる工程と、ガラス内部に拡散させず表面に残留した銀を硝酸などの酸を用いて洗浄除去する工程とを有する。【選択図】なし
