PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which shows an excellent fit performance and absorbency.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper is equipped with at least a front body, a back body, a chassis having a crotch part placed between the front body and the back body, and a liquid retaining absorber which is made to be vertically long and is placed along from the front body to the back body through the crotch part. The absorber is formed in the crotch part to be vertically long in a manner to be stretched in the longitudinal direction of the absorber and includes material non-existing parts where an absorbent material for the absorber is not placed and/or at least one auxiliary bending part including a thin part where the thickness of the absorber is thin, and a pair of raised parts which rise in the width direction and in the mutually reverse direction. The auxiliary bending part is formed to have different lengths in the width direction of the auxiliary bending part.
