The invention relates to a Peripheral Intravenous Catheter with Bellows-type Passive Safety System IVCBTS, which is characterised by including: a retractable puncture cannula (4) in a manual mechanism with a bellows-type flexible tube (3) to prevent the reuse thereof, accidental puncture accidents and safe disposal thereof. Said IVCBTS has the advantages of: (a) including a device with a passive protection system for avoiding accidental punctures, and (b) being easy to operate. The Peripheral Intravenous Catheter with Bellows-type Passive Safety System IVCBTS has two modes, which are the puncturing and catheterising mode and the safety mode for disposing of the used puncture cannula (4). The parts that make up the IVCBTS in the two modes thereof are as follows: (1) a catheter, (2) a holding body, (3) a bellows-type flexible tube, (4) a puncture cannula, (5) a mounting body, (6) a viewing chamber and filter, and (7) filter paper.Se presenta el Catéter Intravenoso Periférico con Sistema de Seguridad Pasiva Tipo Fuelle CIVSTF, caracterizado por comprender: una cánula de punción (4) retráctil en un mecanismo manual de tubo flexible tipo fuelle (3) para evitar su reúso, accidentes de punción accidental y su eliminación segura. Este CIVSTF tiene las ventajas de comprender: (a) un dispositivo que posea un sistema de protección pasivo para evitar punciones accidentales (b) ser fácilmente manejable. El Catéter Intravenoso Periférico con Sistema de Seguridad Pasiva Tipo Fuelle CIVSTF presenta dos modalidades que son la de punción y cateterización y la modalidad de seguridad para el desecho de la cánula de punción utilizada (4).
