A catheter for debulking of an undesired deposit from an inner surface of at least one of a blood vessel wall and a stent located in a blood vessel, the catheter having a tip section comprising: circumferentially-directed laser optics； and a circular-action cutter, wherein said circumferentially-directed laser optics is configured to transmit laser radiation for modifying an area of the undesired deposit thereby preparing said area for penetration of said cutter, wherein said cutter is configured to cut through said modified area and thereby debulk at least a part of the undesired deposit. In addition, a catheter for pacemaker and ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) lead extraction is disclosed.La présente invention concerne un cathéter conçu pour réduire un dépôt indésirable d'une surface interne d'une paroi de vaisseau sanguin et/ou d'une endoprothèse située dans un vaisseau sanguin, lequel cathéter présente une section de pointe comprenant : des éléments optiques laser à direction périphérique； et un élément coupant à action circulaire. Les éléments optiques laser à direction périphérique sont conçus pour transmettre un rayonnement laser afin de modifier une surface du dépôt indésirable, préparant ainsi ladite surface à la pénétration dudit élément coupant. Ledit élément coupant est conçu pour couper dans ladite surface et réduire ainsi au moins une partie du dépôt indésirable. L'invention concerne également un cathéter permettant un retrait de fils de stimulateur cardiaque et de DAI (défibrillateur automatique implantable).
