Two narrow bands with one-side adhesive coating are applied for taking a palatal vault impression on the bed or a dental or alveolar process impression of the perforated tray on the bed. The perforated tray is coated with an impression material and introduced into the patients oral cavity. After the impression material hardens, the tray is removed from the oral cavity and the stone model is poured. After cast is crystallised, the perforated tray is first removed from the stone model by extending the band ends brought out on an outer surface of the tray borders.
