PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic device that diagnoses a patient efficiently by auscultation or electrocardiogram in a short time.SOLUTION: The diagnosis device 10 includes a stethoscope 20, a cardiac potential detecting section 30, a control unit 40 and an external unit 50. The hearing detecting section 60, which is a chest piece to be brought into contact with the skin of a patient, has a first detecting section 62 for detecting comparatively high frequencies and a second detecting section 64 for detecting comparatively low frequencies. The cardiac potential detecting section 30 has electrodes 31-33 for detecting potential when the heart beats, and is provided on each of the first and second detecting sections 62, 64. The control unit 40 converts an cardiac potential signal detected by the cardiac potential detecting section 30 into a radio signal, and transmits the converted signal to the external unit 50.
