PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a human body supporting device by freely forming ventilation grooves and to improve the cleanability of a surface skin in which the ventilation grooves are formed, in the human body supporting device in which the ventilation grooves are formed on the surface skin of the support member to support a human body.SOLUTION: The aerator 20 of a chair 1 as the human body supporting device includes a ventilation groove forming mechanism 30 to form a plurality of ventilation grooves 21 through which air passes between the human body and the surface skin 10 in the surface skin 10 to be in contact with the human body on a backrest 4. The ventilation groove forming mechanism 30 includes: an air bag member 31 which is provided on the inner face 10i side of the surface skin 10 of the backrest 4 and which has a plurality of air bags 33 in which the ventilation grooves 21 are formed on the surface skin 10 and an operation mechanism 40 to operate the air bag member 31.
