CONSTITUTION: A fomentation device for thermotherapy comprises: a curved plate(33) has a hard property and offers a curved holding surface corresponding to the curved surface of the human body； an airbag(35) which is fixed to the holding surface of the curved plate and is swollen by the air provided from the outside； a heating element which is detachably installed inside the airbag； a fixing belt(39) which fixes the fomentation device on a necessary spot； and a pump(43) supplying air to the airbag.본 발명은 온열찜질기에 관한 것이다. 이는 신체의 찜질할 부위의 곡면에 대응하도록 굴곡된 지지면을 갖는 곡면판과； 상기 곡면판의 지지면에 밀착하며 외부로부터 공급된 공기에 의해 팽창하는 에어백과； 상기 에어백에 착탈 가능하게 장착되는 것으로서, 에어백의 팽창시 에어백에 밀려 찜질할 부위에 접하며 해당 부위에 열을 가하는 면상발열체와； 상기 곡면판을 신체의 찜질할 부위에 고정시키는 고정수단과； 상기 에어백에 연결되며 에어백의 내부로 공기를 공급하는 에어공급부를 포함한다.상기와 같이 이루어지는 본 발명의 온열찜질기는, 찜질부위에 대한 발열체의 밀착을 위해 에어백을 사용하므로, 그만큼 찜질면에 대한 발열체의 밀착이 완벽함은 물론 더 나아가 발열체가 에어백에 의해 피부 깊숙이 눌리므로 열이 피하층 깊숙이 전달될 수 있어 찜질효과가 좋으며 지압효과까지 얻을 수 있다.
