The present invention relates to pesticidal compositions for seed treatment, comprising of Carboxin, at least one insecticide and at least one fungicide wherein insecticide may be selected from Thiamethoxam, Imidacloprid, Fipronil and fungicide may be selected from Pyraclostrobin, Azoxystrobin, Thiophanate Methyl and Metalaxyl-M. The present invention also relates to the method of preparing the said compositions, comprising of Carboxin, at least one insecticide and at least one fungicide. The present invention also provides a method of controlling or preventing pathogenic damage or pest damage in a plant propagation material, a plant, parts of a plant and/or plant organs that grow at a later point in time with the use of present pesticidal compositions.
