PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period of time until fluid is injected at inexpensive costs.SOLUTION: A fluid injection device comprises: a fluid injection section causing fluid to be injected an injection control section controlling injection of the fluid from the fluid injection section a fluid container storing the fluid supplied to the fluid injection section a connection flow passage connecting the fluid injection section and the fluid container and becoming a flow passage where the fluid flows an open/close section opening and closing the connection flow passage and a volume change section changing a volume in the fluid container while causing the open/close section to perform opening and closing of the connection flow passage.
