PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period of time until fluid is injected.SOLUTION: A fluid injection device comprises: a fluid injection section causing a fluid to be injected an injection control section controlling injection of the fluid from the fluid injection section a fluid container storing the fluid supplied to the fluid injection section a connection flow passage connecting the fluid injection section and the fluid container and being a flow passage where the fluid flows an open/close section opening and closing the connection flow passage and a pressure adjustment section adjusting a pressure in the fluid container while causing the open/close section to open and close the connection flow passage. The pressure adjustment section adjusts the pressure in the fluid container to be greater than a predetermined pressure in a state of the connection flow passage being closed by the open/close section and causes the open/close section to open the connection flow passage after the pressure in the fluid container is greater than the predetermined pressure.
