PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root canal forming device capable of notifying timing to perform operation of an operator during expanding and forming a root canal regardless of the operator's experience.SOLUTION: According to this invention, a root canal forming device 100 includes a handpiece 1, a motor driver 13 (a drive part), a control part 11, and a notification part 17 (an output part). The handpiece 1 holds a cutting tool 5 to be used for root canal formation of a tooth in a drivable manner in a head part 2. The motor driver 13 drives the cutting tool 5 held in the head part 2. The control part 11 controls the motor driver 13.
