Disclosed is an air cleaner in which a filter case of a photocatalytic filter is configured by using an optical diffusion lens. The air cleaner disclosed herein includes a housing into and out of which air flows； a photocatalytic filter that is arranged in an air flow path in the housing； a filter case that is fixed into the housing and supports the photocatalytic filter to maintain the shape of the photocatalytic filter； a light source that irradiates the photocatalytic filter with light； and an optical diffusion member that constitutes a part of the filter case structure and diffuses the light generated by the light source to the photocatalytic filter.
