PURPOSE: A structure of an earring type PPG(photoplethysmography) device with a solar cell, and a measuring method thereof are provided to have a wearable biosignal measurement device that has an earring shape which is attachable to an ear that minimizes feeling of tightness, and to use a solar cell for power supply, thereby measuring a users physical condition in real time at anytime and anywhere due to the minimized size of the device.CONSTITUTION: A structure of an earring type PPG device with a solar cell includes a body housing(100) which has an earring shape which is attachable to an ear lobe an MICOM(micro computer processor, 110) which is placed in the body housing, and composed of a control unit, a determination unit, and a storage a communication unit(120) which sends and receives signals through a wireless communication mode a power supply unit(130) which is composed of at least one between a solar cell or a rechargeable battery a PPG sensor which is a light source and a photo-detector and an earring pin(300) that attaches the body housing to an ear lobe to be fixed.
