PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair with a shift assisting function by which a nursed person can be assisted to shift from a position of bed etc. to another place without requiring setting of a dedicated shift assisting machine or a large scale lift structure, and especially which can be easily used at a general home.SOLUTION: A pair of right and left poles 9 are erected on side frames 1c in front of a frame 1 of the wheelchair by attachments 11 fixed to the frame, and a cushion 10 is set on each end part of the pole 9 and a knee pad band 8 is attached to the frame in front of the seat part 2 and at an upper position of a footrest 7. When a nursed person is to be shifted, the wheelchair is tilted bent forward the nursed person is supported at under the arm pits or under the arms in a posture facing forward in front of the wheelchair knees are supported by the knee pad band the nursed person is shifted to the wheelchair by three point support to support feet by the footrest to return the wheelchair from the tilted state, and the wheelchair is moved to a desired position to perform shift assistance.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】被介助者をベッド等の位置から他の場所へ、専用の移乗介助機や大規模なリフト構造の設置を要することなく移乗介助を施すことができ、特に一般家庭においても容易に使用し得る移乗介助機能を備えた車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】車椅子のフレーム1の前側において側部フレーム1cに左右一対のポール9をフレームに固定したアタッチメント11により立設し、その各ポール上端部にクッション10を備えるとともに座面部2の前側で、かつ、フットレスト7の上方位置において膝当て帯8をフレームに取付け、被介助者を移乗する場合に、車椅子を前屈みに斜傾させ、被介助者が車椅子の前側で向き合った姿勢で腕下あるいは腋下をクッションで担持し、膝を膝当て帯で支え、足をフットレストで支える3点支持で車椅子上に移乗して車椅子を斜傾状態より戻して、所望位置まで車椅子を移動させることにより、移乗介助を遂行する。【選択図】図1
