PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond to a demand for a transport apparatus with a smaller interval between transport containers for the transport apparatus having a transport path equipped with a curved zone as the transport capacity of such transport apparatus increases with decrease in the interval between the transport containers.SOLUTION: A transport apparatus includes: a transport path having a straight zone and a curved zone curved in a given curvature and plural transport containers transported on the transport path. The transport path is arranged on a side that is inside of the curved zone, and includes: power-transmission means that can be curved in the given curvature and a slide part disposed on a side that is outside of the curved zone.
