A method and system for processing waveform distortion on patient monitors. By sampling the values of M sets of sampling data of pixel coordinates arranged in a column, the characteristic value of the current set of sampling data is calculated. The color of the characteristic value of the pixel coordinates in the column is set to the brightest color on the monitor display screen. The characteristic value being taken as the center, the colors of the other data of the pixel coordinates in the column grow gradually darker with respect to said characteristic value. Finally, the colors corresponding to the data of the pixel coordinates in the column are displayed at corresponding pixel points on the patient monitor display screen. Without affecting the waveform real-time display, the present method for processing waveform distortion effectively overcomes the problem of waveform distortion caused by external signals interfering with patient monitors, allowing the displayed waveform to be closest to the theoretical ideal waveform, thereby achieving waveform fidelity.Linvention concerne un procédé et un système pour le traitement de la distorsion de la forme donde sur des moniteurs de patient.
