PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve low power consumption and high resolution.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic measurement apparatus transmits an ultrasonic wave with a predetermined wavelength to an object from channels of a first number of an ultrasonic transducer device, acquires a reception wave of an ultrasonic echo for the transmitted ultrasonic wave from the channels of the first number when information indicating a normal mode is acquired, acquires a reception wave of the ultrasonic echo for the transmitted ultrasonic wave from channels of a second number less than the first number when information indicating a low power consumption mode is acquired, adds the reception signal of each channel of the channels of the first number with a weight calculated in advance when the information indicating the normal mode is acquired, adds the reception signal of each channel of the channels of the second number with a weight according to the reception signal when the information indicating the low power consumption mode is acquired, and generates an image on the basis of the added reception signals.【課題】低消費電力と高分解能とを両立することができる。【解決手段】超音波トランスデューサーデバイスのうちの第一の個数のチャンネルから対象物に対して所定の波長の超音波を送信し、通常モードを示す情報が取得されたときは、送信した超音波に対する超音波エコーの受信波を第一の個数のチャンネルから取得し、低消費電力モードを示す情報が取得されたときは、送信した超音波に対する超音波エコーの受信波を第一の個数より少ない第二の個数のチャンネルから取得する。通常モードを示す情報が取得されたときは、第一の個数のチャンネルの各チャンネルの受信信号を予め算出していた重みで加算し、低消費電力モードを示す情報が取得されたときは、第二の個数のチャンネルの各チャンネルの受信信号を当該受信信号に応じた重みで加算し、当該加算された受信信号に基づいて画像生成を行う。【選択図】図９
