PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inhibiting the growth of a leech, a slug and a tick, and also for inhibiting the growth of the slug in the site of production of vegetable floriculture plants and production of agricultural and livestock products and production of minor forest products (mushroom such as the lentinus edodes).SOLUTION: A bittern liquid is directly applied to a target to be inhibited and exterminated by an effect of the bittern by following means. 1. A method of spraying the bittern in a forest and wilderness is provided for inhibition of growth expansion. 2. A method of directly spraying the bittern to mediate target organisms is provided for inhibition of range expansion. 3. A method of entirely spraying the bittern in a zoo/botanical garden is provided for inhibition in a limited area. 4. A method of directly applying the bittern to the skin and clothes of a person and petting small animal is provided for application to the skin and clothes. The above spraying and applying work form can be used in many types such as a spray type filled in an atomizer or a cylinder and a jellied material filled in a portable tube container capable of being easily applied.
