PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance which can inhibit the proliferation of oral bacteria and is safe for ingestion, and particularly, since the usefulness of the combined use of a saccharide and a sugar alcohol is not found clearly yet, to provide a combination of a saccharide and a sugar alcohol, which can inhibit the proliferation of oral bacteria.SOLUTION: The oral bacteria proliferation inhibitor is characterized by comprising galactose and sorbitol.
