The present invention relates to a spinach plant (Spinacia oleracea) comprising a genetic determinant that leads to the plant having a red colouration of the leaves, which genetic determinant is obtainable from a spinach plant comprising said genetic determinant, representative seed of which was deposited with the NCIMB under accession numbers NCIMB 41954, NCIMB 41955 and NCIMB 41956.La présente invention concerne un plant d'épinard (Spinacia oleracea) comprenant un déterminant génétique conférant à la plante une coloration rouge des feuilles, ce déterminant génétique est obtenu à partir d'un plant d'épinard comprenant ledit déterminant génétique et dont les graines représentatives ont été déposées auprès du NCIMB sous les numéros d'entrée NCIMB 41954, NCIMB 41955 and NCIMB 41956.
