Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen thermoplastischen Polyurethanharnstoff, erhältlich durch Umsetzung der folgenden Komponenten: Komponente A) ein Polycarbonatpolyol A1), welches zumindest eine Struktureinheit der allgemeinen Formel (I) sowie gewünschtenfalls weitere Polycarbonatpolyole A2) umfasst, Komponente B) ein Polyisocyanat, Komponente C) ein Diamin, Hydrazid und/ oder ein Aminoalkohol, gegebenenfalls als Komponente D) ein Polyol mit bis zu 20 C-Atomen, insbesondere ein Diol und/oder Esterdiol, gegebenenfalls als Komponente E) einen Katalysator, wobei das Verhältnis der NCO-Funktionalität des Polyisocyanats B) zu der Summe der Isocyanatreaktiven Gruppen der übrigen Komponenten 0,95 bis 1,05 beträgt.
