The present invention is directed to a topical liquid composition of a novel melatonin-based formulation, particularly melatonin (or analogs thereof), suitable for use in intrauterine washing performed during medical assisted reproduction (e.g., in vitro fertilization-IVF). Melatonin is quite unstable, especially in solution.
