PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive device enabling an assisting person to allow an assisted person using a wheelchair to easily get in/out to/from an automobile.SOLUTION: The getting-in/out support device includes: a base of which one end enters under a seat from a lateral surface side of the seat such that the base is across a boundary between vehicle inside and outside in an entrance and the other end is located outside the vehicle a pedestal arranged at the other end of the base and including a seating surface which is generally horizontal when the base is installed in the entrance and allowing an assisted person to sit temporarily thereon a support part arranged between the one end and the other end of the base and supporting the base while contacted with a part of the vehicle on an underside and a stopper arranged on the base, engaging with a part of the vehicle, and thereby preventing the base installed in the entrance from sliding to the vehicle outside.
