The present invention provides a novel Lactobacillus sp. strain a novel Bifidobacterium sp. strain or a lactobacillus mixture thereof which is isolated from kimchi or human feces. According to the present invention the specific Lactobacillus sp. strain or the specific Bifidobacterium sp. strain is isolated from kimchi or human feces thereby having high safety and various physiological activities such as an antioxidant activity a ?? glucuronidase inhibitory activity a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) generation inhibitory activity or a tight junction protein expression inducing activity. Therefore according to the present invention the specific Lactobacillus sp. strain the specific Bifidobacterium sp. strain or a lactobacillus mixture thereof can be used as a functional food and drug material useful for preventing alleviating or treating a bowel injury a liver injury allergies inflammatory diseases or obesity.
