PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unfolding type disposable diaper allowing a user to fix a fastening tape to a landing tape while confirming the fastening state in advance.
SOLUTION: The unfolding type disposable diaper 1A has fastening tapes 4 in a pair of side flaps 3 extending outward in the lateral direction ( direction X) from side edges 2b on a back part B of a body 2 which includes an abdominal part A, the back part B and a crotch part C located between the abdominal part A and the back part B. The disposable diaper 1A also has the landing tape 5 for fastening the fastening tapes 4 on a non-skin-contact surface of the abdominal part A. Each side flap 3 has a stretch region 32a and a transparent region 32b disposed in the stretch region 32a. The landing tape 5 has a plurality of first symbols 51. The first symbols 51 can be visually recognized through the transparent region 32b when the fastening tapes 4 are fastened.
