PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely support walking by allowing a user to hold a grip of a walking support device and to travel the device on his/her side.SOLUTION: A walking support device 60 includes: two front wheels 30, 30 having a diameter D1 attached on the advance side of a base frame 2 arranged in a lateral direction and one rear wheel 50 attached on the opposite side and having a diameter of D2 (>D1). An operation frame 10 having a grip 13 of an operator is attached to the base frame 2 so as to be height-adjustable. First axle supporters 20 where the front wheels 30 are pivotally stopped are loosely attached to the base frame 2, so as to keep the front wheels 30 having contact with a ground surface 62 even when the operation frame 10 is moved by inclination. Axles 28 of the front wheels 30 are positioned on the advance direction side with respect to a tip end 2a of the base frame 2 in the advance direction. A gap 57 is formed above the rear wheel 50 so as to arrange a stopper 58. When the downward pressure is applied from the grip 13, the stopper 58 is abutted to the rear wheel 50 so as to regulate the rotation. When the pressure is canceled, the gap 57 is restored so as to keep traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】使用者が歩行支援装置の把持グリップを握って脇で走行させれば、安全に歩行を支援できる。【解決手段】歩行支援装置60は、横方向に配置した基部フレーム2の進行側に、D1の2つの前輪30、30、他側にD2(>D1)の1つの後輪50を取り付ける。基部フレーム2に、操作者の把持グリップ13を有する操作レーム10を高さ調整自在に取り付ける。基部フレーム2に、前輪30を軸止した第一車軸支持具20を緩く取り付け、操作フレーム10の傾動しても前輪30が地面62に接地状態を保っている。前輪330の車軸28が、基部フレーム2の進行方向の先端2aよりも進行方向側に位置する。後輪50の上方に間隙57を空けて、ストッパー58を設け、把持グリップ13から下方に押圧すれば、ストッパー58が後輪50にと当接して回転を規制でき、押圧を解除すれば、間隙57が復活して、走行を維持できる。【選択図】図2
