A method for the preparation of hyaluronic acid micro- sponges, wherein hyaluronic acid at a concentration ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 g/dL and of molecular weight ranging from 250,000 to 1,500,000 is caused to react with a cross-linking agent at a concentration ranging from 0.05 and 0.15 M. The cross-linking agent is prepared by mixing 1,1'- carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) with a diamine compound.L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de micro-éponges d'acide hyaluronique, l'acide hyaluronique de concentration allant de 0,5 à 1,5 g/dl et de poids moléculaire allant de 250 000 à 1 500 000 étant amené à réagir avec un agent de réticulation à une concentration allant de 0,05 à 0,15 M.
