Provided is an astaxanthin and clam essence liver protection formula for protecting liver from being damage and fibrosized, including two active ingredients which are respectively astaxanthin with weight percentage between 0.01% and 10%, and clam essence with weight percentage between 90% and 99.99% and containing glycogen. The astaxanthin is one member of the xanthophylls group in the carotenoid family. Because its chemical structure thereof contains a double-bond long-chain structure, the astaxanthin has a very strong antioxidant capacity, so as to lower the liver function indexes including the alanine aminotransferase (abbreviated as ALT) and the aspartate aminotransferase (abbreviated as AST) and inhibit the liver from being fibrosized, thereby achieving the effects of preventing or curing liver inflammation, damage, fibrosis and cirrhosis.一種保護肝臟免於損傷及纖維化的蝦紅素蜆精護肝配方,其包含有二活性成分,分別為一重量百分比介於0.01%至10%之間的蝦紅素以及一重量百分比介於90%至99.99%之間並包含有一肝醣的蜆精,蝦紅素屬於類胡蘿蔔素家族中葉黃素類家族的一員,因其化學結構含有雙鍵的長鏈結構,所以具有極為強大的抗氧化力。藉此,可以降低肝功能指數丙胺酸轉胺酶(alanine aminotransferase,簡稱ALT)與天門冬胺酸轉胺酶(aspartate aminotransferase,簡稱AST),並可抑制肝臟纖維化,而可達到預防或治療肝臟發炎、損傷、纖維化及肝臟硬化等效果。
