Provided is an astaxanthin and clam essence liver protection formula for protecting liver from being damage and fibrosized, including two active ingredients which are respectively astaxanthin with weight percentage between 0.01% and 10%, and clam essence with weight percentage between 90% and 99.99% and containing glycogen. The astaxanthin is one member of the xanthophylls group in the carotenoid family.
