The image processing means performs, according to the color tone correction signal, correction processing on the color tone of a video signal (31) of an image captured while illuminating with the illumination light from the probe and thereby performs a color tone correction with reference to the color tone characteristics of a video signal of an image captured using the illumination equipped in the endoscope. Another configuration (M1) uses a color filter to adjust the illumination light from the probe.
