PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth agent containing a sulfated galactofucan as a main constituent.SOLUTION: The plant growth agent is obtained by: hydrolyzing protein in a solution containing a pulverized component of whole sporophyll by an enzyme treatment and centrifuging the hydrolyzed solution preparing a polysaccharide extract by extracting a supernatant fraction after the centrifugation centrifuging the polysaccharide extract and extracting a precipitate fraction and fractionating the precipitate fraction into four fractions, A, B, C, and D, according to elution peaks of anion exchange chromatography and extracting the D fraction (sulfated galactofucan) having the highest degree of anionicity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 硫酸化ガラクトフカンを主体とした植物成長剤を提供する。【解決手段】 メカブ粉砕成分を含有する溶液を酵素処理することによってタンパク質を加水分解し、その加水分解後の溶液を遠心分離し、その遠心分離後の上清画分を抽出して多糖類抽出液を調整し、その多糖類抽出液を遠心分離して沈殿画分を抽出し、その沈殿画分を陰イオン交換クロマトグラフィーの溶出ピークにしたがってABCDの4つの区分に画分し、その区分のうち最も陰イオン度の強いD画分(硫酸化ガラクトフカン)を抽出した。【選択図】図3
