The metering device also has a drive motor comprising a stator and a rotor, wherein the rotor is connected to the axle for rotating the metering disc. A meter housing forms a metering chamber and a drive motor compartment, with the metering disc being rotatable within the metering chamber and the stator being received in the drive motor compartment.
