PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball packaging material easily and accurately produced and easily opened.SOLUTION: A rice ball packaging material 1 uses a directional plastic film the crack of which advances in a specific direction, as raw material, a half-cut part 3 having a length equivalent to the thickness of a rice ball x packaged on a packaging sheet 2 on a place corresponding to a bottom surface x3 of the rice ball x, is formed along a crack advancing direction. When opening the packaging material, the half-cut part 3 is opened by pulling the rice ball packaging material 1 from side to side, and the crack is advanced along the crack advancing direction to open the packaging material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
